Applied Science & Technology Full Text

(EBSCO/Wilson) - Applied Science & Technology covers core literature from professional and technical society journals, periodicals and conference proceedings. Topics range from acoustics to transportation.  It includes full text of articles from 220 periodicals and images of original illustrations, charts and photographs. It also provides indexing and abstracts for more than 750 English-language scientific and technical publications.

ASTM Compass

(American Society for Testing & Materials Standards) - Provides access to more than 12,000 ASTM standards, the ASTM Digital Library of books, articles, reports, and papers with online tools for using the standards.

Computing Database

(ProQuest) - "Search top computing journals in full text for research on subjects such as database design, software development, web commerce, LANs, WANs, Intranets, and the Internet."

General Science Full Text

(EBSCO/Wilson) - General Science provides full text for 100 periodicals from 1994-present, and indexing and abstracts for 300 periodicals back to 1984. Content formats: graphs, charts, diagrams, photos and illustrations. Subjects include biology, botany, chemistry, genetics, physics, environment, zoology.

IEEE Xplore Digital Library

(IEEE) -  Search and retrieve full text electrical and engineering research and development publications, including transactions and proceedings from more than 120 IEEE journals, 900 active IEEE standards, and the proceedings of 400 annual conferences. The majority of the content dates back to 1988; content from select publications go back as far as 1950.

Inspec

(EBSCO) - Inspec, created by the IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology), is the leading bibliographic database providing abstracts and indexing to the world's scientific and technical papers in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computing and information technology. Containing over 7 million records, Inspec provides coverage from over 3,500 journals, 1,500 conference proceedings as well as numerous books, dissertations and reports.

Journal Citation Reports® Science Edition ~ 2010 ONLY ~ (Open with FireFox)

(Thomson Reuters) - EXCEL File for 2010 only of the JCR Science Edition contains data from over 7,300 journals in science and technology for the year 2010 ONLY. All of the data that you see for journals and subject categories come from journal data published in 2010. If you search for a particular journal, you will see the 2010 data for that journal, including -- The number of articles published in the journal in 2010, the number of citations to that journal from articles published in 2010, and the Impact Factor calculated from 2010 data, and so on.

National Information Standards Organization (NISO)

(National Information Standards Organization) - nonprofit association accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), identifies, develops, maintains, and publishes technical standards to manage information.

National Technical Reports Library (NTRL)

The NTRL provides access to the NTIS (National Technical Information Service) content collection.  It contains over 3 million records with over 800,000 full-text reports. The NTRL is updated each week with newly acquired information and recently digitized existing content. It is a convenient and economical means of accessing the most comprehensive library of federally produced scientific and technical information available. Although NTRL is a publicly accessible database, first time users must register.

Oceanic Abstracts

(ProQuest/CSA) - "Focuses exclusively on worldwide technical literature pertaining to the marine and brackish-water environment. It is totally comprehensive in its coverage of living and non-living resources, meteorology and geology, plus environmental, technological, and legislative topics."

Pharmaceutical News Index

(ProQuest) - "A database of pharmacological news, research, and regulatory information. Covers the most important specialized publications in the pharmaceutical, health care, biotechnology, and medical device industries"

ROSA P (National Transportation Library)

(U.S. Dept. of Transportation) - Collections in ROSA P include full-text electronic publications, datasets, and other resources covering the transportation research ecosystem.

Science In Context

(GALE) - Contextual information on hundreds of the most current and significant science topics. Merges reference content with full-text magazines, academic journals, news articles, experiments, images, videos, audio files and links to vetted websites organized into a portal environment.

Science.gov

(US Govt.) - United States government science cross-agency portal. Search for full-text documents and reports of U.S. agencies.

SciFinder

SciFinder, from American Chemical Society, is the search interface to the Chemical Abstracts and MEDLINE databases. It provides subject coverage that includes the chemical aspects of astronomy, biology, education, engineering, economics, geology, history, mathematics, medicine, and physics.

(Center for Research Libraries) - A searchable digital collection of US governmental agency technical reports.

US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

Search for United States patents 1790 to present through the Patent and Trademark Office (United States). Patents issued since 1976 in full text. Full-page images are available since 1790 by FREE image software which must be downloaded (follow directions on Patent and Trademark website) NOTE: US Patents from 1790 through 1975 are searchable only by Patent Number and Current US Classification.

Web of Science

(Clarivate Analytics) - Web of Science (formerly Science Citation Index) traces the references at the end of each paper published in a broad collection of 8,000 journals in science and engineering. Use this database most efficiently to discover who has cited a paper written in the past. Our library's subscription covers the references from papers published since 1999.
